Summary

 

      Treat others the way you want to be treated if you want to have a good relationship with another person. When you meet a person, you automatically open a RBA (relationship bank account) with them. Once you open one you CAN NOT close it! Therefore, it’s best to start with a good first impression, just like your first job interview. Some ways to boost your account is to give compliments. A simple hug can make a BIG difference to someone who has had a bad day. As the saying goes, “One kind word can warm three winter months." On the other hand; making fun of people and gossiping, make you take out withdrawals from the RBA. There are two types of withdrawals you can make:

 

 

   1.You make withdrawals from everyone who hears you gossiping. If someone hears you, guess what they're going to be doing behind YOUR BACK?!(DUN Dun dun...)

 

    2. When you badmouth or gossip behind their back, you’re making an invisible withdrawal. Ever felt that someone was trashing you behind your back? You never heard it, but you felt it. It's strange, but true. If you sweet talk a person to their face, but badmouth them to their back, trust me THEY'LL KNOW! SpOoKy!

 

         So, to have a good RBA with another person, you need to make sure your loyal, you need to listen, help pick them up when their down, and NEVER gossip behind their back. If you follow these simple rules, you will not only have a great relationship with that person, but hopefully a friend for life.
